Caleb's Nursery

Here are a few pics of baby Caleb's nursery. I love the elephant print fabric and I'm so pleased with how everything turned out. Eli had so much fun helping too!

Caleb Jonathon has arrived

2 weeks ago our beautiful baby boy made his grand debut into the world. I went into labor Friday morning, November 6th and Caleb was born at 4 that afternoon. He has already stolen his Mommy's heart.
The entire time I was pregnant I couldn't understand how in the world I would be able to love another child more than I already loved Elizabeth Grace. It is truly amazing how my heart just expanded and I have so much love for this baby boy. He is sweet as pie and such a good baby. (I hope I'm not jinxing myself...haha!)
Here are a few pics of our sweet addition.
We are now a family of four...we are complete.

Happy Halloween!

Ariel posing with her 9 month preggo mommy! Only 2 weeks until the due date!

Grammy came to visit for Halloween.

She did not want to wear her wig to school so we chose a beautiful tiara from her dress up trunk.

Our silly jack-o-lantern!

Happy Halloween everyone! Eli is super excited about Halloween and getting lots of yummy candy. She finally decided to make her mommy happy and be one of the Disney princesses for Halloween. The past 2 years she's chosen superheroes (Wonder Woman and the pink Power Ranger). We thought she looked adorable in the red wig, but our hot-natured baby girl couldn't take it for long. We're going to trick-or-treat tonight with some of our good friends and family. I'll have to post more Halloween pics later.

Clemson Football - Go Tigers!!!

We love this time of year...mainly because it's time for football!
We headed to see our Tigers play for their first 2 home games. Since I am majorly preggo we have decided to stay home for the rest of the season and watch them on TV. We got really lucky and were able to sell our tickets...yay!!
Eli LOVES Clemson football...I'm bringing her up right! HA HA!
Her favorite parts are watching the Tigers run down the Hill, eating dippin' dots ice cream, and hanging out with her friend Mati Cox!
At the Middle Tennessee game she and Mati anxiously awaited the balloons to be released, because according to Eli that meant that "our boys" would be running down the Hill soon!
We hope our Tigers will have a good season and we'll be cheering for them from our sofa for the rest of the season!
GO TIGERS!!!

Tball 2009

I know how pathetic it is to be posting this so many months after Tball, but oh well. I'll blame my inability to post on a consistent basis on my pregnancy and raging hormones. It seems I am quite forgetful these days and just cannot get everything accomplished!
Anyway...
Eli had another great year of playing Tball for our favorite team, Juice.
She was 1 of 2 girls on the team and didn't mind at all. She got right in the middle with the boys and played her little heart out! She had so much fun!
(Thanks for the group pic Meredith!)

First day of 4K!

We went back to school today! Elizabeth Grace is very excited about starting 4k. This will be her first year going 5 days a week and she really thinks she is big stuff! Her teacher is Miss Denise. Last year her teacher was Miss Amber who is just across the hallway from her new room. She said after school today that she misses Amber, but she is very close to her classroom so she can still see her! I thought that was so sweet.
As you can see I was able to snap a few shots of Miss Eli before leaving the house and she wanted to take one of me...majorly preggo! So here I am...28 weeks and counting.
We cannot wait to start learning all sorts of new things during 4k!

Fishing with Grandpa

One of Elizabeth Grace's favorite things to do lately is to go fishing with her Grandpa and her Daddy. I'm so proud that she will get down and dirty with the boys, because as many of you know her Mommy is not into the whole "outdoorsy" thing. I have gotten a little better as time goes by...yeah right! HA HA!
A few weeks ago Grandpa called to see if she wanted to go with him to the farm and I thought she was going to jump out of her skin, she was so excited!
I found these cute pics on our camera and I just had to post them. She is a big fan of her Grandpa because he lets her tag along and do all sorts of cool things with him at the farm. I guess they'll be taking baby Caleb along soon enough on all of their adventures!

From Pinkalicious to Purplelicious

She had to get her picture with the big girls!

Purplelicious - 2009

Pinkalicious - 2008

I am the worst blogger, but better later than never, right?
Anyway, I had to post some of Eli's dance recital pics from this year. Last year she was all decked out in pink. This year she got to sparkle in her lovely purple costume, which she loves! She did such a great job and has really taken an interest in this whole dance thing. We're so proud of her!

Disney World

Elizabeth Grace LOVED Princess Jasmine! She was also a little too tired to meet The Genie.

We were so thrilled when Cinderella came through during our storybook princess lunch, and super excited to meet Snow White.

Ariel and Sleeping Beauty

She got to take her picture with Belle as soon as we arrived to the lunch.
One of Eli's favorite rides was Dumbo.

Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse

Pluto and Minnie Mouse

Goofy and Daisy Duck

The SpectraMagic parade was absolutely amazing. It is a must see at the Magic Kingdom!

Pluto and Stitch

Lilo ( Eli calls her LuLu)

She also loved riding the teacups.
Eli LOVED this rollercoaster, called "The Barnstormer." We lost count of how many times she and her daddy rode this ride.

We took a trip to the magical world of Disney during our spring break in April. (Yes I have been extremely slack with this blogging thing!) As you can see from the many pics that I've posted we had a blast! Elizabeth Grace was in awe of everything. We didn't tell her we were going until the day before and she didn't believe us. She wanted to know if we were "tricking her."
She loved all of the rides, especially at the Magic Kingdom. We had to go back to that park everyday, after visiting the others. She was especially excited to meet all of the characters. To be such a last minute trip we got very lucky and were able to get reservations to a lot of the character dinners, which is a must!
We decided to make this a short notice trip, because we found out that we are expecting another bundle of joy in November. We knew that if we didn't take her to Disney World soon she was going to be atleast 8 or 9 before we would have the chance to go back. If there is one thing I decided on this trip it's that I WOULD NOT take a child younger than 4, and make sure that the child is completely potty trained and out of the temper tantrum stage. That's just my personal opinion, because I know I wouldn't be able to handle all of that.
We had such a great time....Disney is truly a magical place. We cannot wait to go back, in another 5 years! :)
